More for a meditative mind or those into yoga or something! The visual aid features drops of water (kinda like the lava lamp) that float up and down the tank in sync with the music being played on hand. Wonder if it will have a hypnotic effect as well!

The afterlife never sounded so good. Feeding France’s insatiable appetite for all things ancient Egyptian (Yeah, I’m talkin’ to you Napoleon!), French designer Stéphane Thivend cracked many whips to bring us the “Horus” pyramid coffee table. This Ancient Wonder is made from high performance concrete and features a powered integrated dual speaker system and iPod dock. And to further ensure a captive audience, Stéphane also included an integrated LED lighting effect with your choice of 24 Pharaoh approved colors. – Sent from my iPad while listening to Pink Floyd.

Watch concepts without traditional numerics and even analog hands? Minimalism to its extreme – or at least that’s what designer Robert Dabi is pitching. His ZERO watch has two discs (one each for hours and minutes) that spin to tell time. My problem with many numeric-less concepts is difficulty in reading them. The ZERO looks like it may avoid that because I have no problems reading it. No word if it’ll hit the market but the flexible metal/rubber band will come in an array of colors if it does. Hit the jump for a video.

In America, eating fast food on the run simply makes sense. For this reason, the Swivel Car Tray is sure to be a hit with individuals that have perfected the art of eating and driving. The swivel car tray is a small table device that attaches to a standard cup holder in the car. The tray can swivel from the passenger to driver and makes it extra convenient for drivers to stuff their mouths at a red light or stop sign.

The tray is specifically designed to hold food in place. The center of the tray is textured to ensure that food items don’t slide or roll around. Although the tray has a swivel design, it can still easily lock into place.

Some individuals may feel the swivel car tray advocates unhealthy eating and is more of a disservice to society than a convenience. However, the tray is only as a good as the food that it holds, and it’s up to the consumer to determine whether they want to place unhealthy or healthy food on their swivel tray.

In your kitchen, of all places! Who of you would love to use themselves an “Ekokook?” Don’t know what that is? I’ll tell you! It’s a kitchen system that makes use of all your waste, all of it. Even that. Yep. And that too! It’s got the capability to use and re-use all of your solid waste, liquid waste, and organic waste. How, you say? Well, let me Ekokook you up a fwe answers!

Micro-plant 1) First, we’ve got the solid waste. What to do? Select, process, store. Solid wastes, in this case, are wastes that have no smell. These wastes are as thus: glass, paper, plastic, metal, and miscellaneous. Each of these are placed in their own bin and smashed down to minimal size. All of these items activated by hand: a steel ball, like the ball in a pinball machine, to break glass, an endless screw like a nut-cracker to compress cans and water bottles, and a manual shredder-crusher to shred paper before turning it into briquettes.

Micro-plant 2) Water. Use, collection, and recycling. First, a double sink for retention. The second sink collects water that’s been filtered of any grease scum into two pitchers that can then be used on household plants. All of this can be lifted out and cleaned (which it should be regularly) to keep up hygiene.

Micro-plant 3) Organic waste. Night of the living garbage bin. This is the earth worm composer. It uses real earthworms to break down organic wastes. Green wastes go in here like peels, scrapings, left-overs, etc. Food waste. The container with the worms is a drum that rotates a notch a day. The waste inside shifts gradually and after three months maturing are considered lumbri compost. Liquid effluent drains into two pitchers, and diluted one part effluent to ten parts water, this junk becomes perfect food for indoor and outdoor plants.

The proteins in an egg can do wonders for your skin, but how about taking a shower in one? I’m talking about the egg-shaped shaped Cocoon Shower Stall that literally cocoons you once you shut all the glass slides. The usual spa features seen in such kinda stalls are included, but to spell them out: shower, bathtub, hydro massage (Jacuzzi) & mood lighting are there. The rain-showerhead is plum in the center of the ceiling, but I’d much rather use this for the hydra therapies!

It’s not called “Green” for the amount of green it gets rid of in your shower, but for the niceness it inflicts upon the environment. This “Green Shower” by Rami Tareef takes into account the amount the potential liters and liters of water wasted by showers and fixes it with this design using two very simple modifications.

1. A flexible LCD screen that notifies the user as to the temperature of the water. Silly? Nay! Lots and LOTS of people turn the shower on and wait for it to reach optimum heat. In this process is the liter waster. Be more precise with this right here.

2. A 24V DC generator to make use of the water as it flows from your water supply. Might as well do double good with that water as long as it’s flowing on your dime, right?

3. I lied, there’s three things. The third thing is that it looks amazing. Generally “non-traditional” shower fixtures look rather gaudy, if I do say so myself. This is nice. Look at that bathwater waterfall at the bottom! So pretty.
